The Spark Global was borne out of identifying a gap to bring together the experience of living with chronic disease with knowledge of strategic patient engagement consultancy and activities.

 

It is a female-owned patient engagement consultancy and advocacy company that works across the globe with multiple stakeholders, to better embed the patient voice throughout the healthcare ecosystem and medicines development lifecycle. These stakeholders include pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations, medical communications agencies, academia, medical publishers, digital health companies, clinicians, charities/non-profits, professional associations and patient groups.

The company’s founder is a long-time advocate of empowering the patient voice and has been recognised by multiple organisations for her work in patient communities and the life sciences. These include being named a PharmaVoice 100 honoree, a Points of Light awardee from the UK Prime Minister’s Office, and being made an honorary member of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK). She is also a visiting lecturer at the Centre for Pharmaceutical Medicine Research at King’s College London university.
